Description
Lost Loon Triathlon is a family-friendly event that encourages all ages to get outdoors, be active and have fun. Teams bike 9 miles, canoe 2 miles and trail run/walk 2 miles at Long Hunter State Park at their own pace and preferred distance. Our triathlon is untimed and awards are based on enthusiasm versus speed. Costumes and team themes are optional but lots of fun. All proceeds benefit the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association (TSRA) and support river conservation projects. Team fee of $85 includes canoe rental, 2 adult race shirts, lunch for everyone. Teams can bring their own tandem boat if they have one. Park limits 3 adults per canoe. Teams must bring their own bikes and bike helmets.
